Security measures to prevent accidents in the water




Today one of the most common and exciting activities that you can do with your family is visit the beach. People like to see new places and enjoy the sun and water, but sometimes, for not taking the necessary precautions, the fun can become in accidents.


Here are some recommendations for avoiding the most common accidents that occur while you are on the beach:


1. You should investigate how is the weather and temperature of the place, the water depth, waves, currents, eddies and tides.


2. Swim in areas supervised by lifeguards and specialists and respect the signal flags (red = prohibited bathroom, yellow = dangerous / caution, green = free bath)


3. Never visit or bathe in the beach alone, even more if you don’t know the place ‘cause problems may arise in the water and you're going to be alone. Remember that if you want to swim on the beaches, you have to do it across and never inwards.


4. If you are traveling with kids, you should be aware of them all the time. Remember that kids don’t measure the danger of their games because of their age.


5. If someone is at risk, ask for help from a lifeguard immediately, because these people are specialized in providing adequate assistance.
